Yes, in deciding to be a revolutionary, which is what Alinsky urges, he recommends adherents to abandon bourgeois ideas and accept radical values.

Interesting how leaders of a previous "insurrection" with the intent to 'end the government' became iconic heroes and media celebrities for the left.

Very, very interested in understanding not only Alinsky's tactics and how they are applied, but why they are so easily transferrable. It's almost like the activists have to renounce any moral standards in order to logically justify their rebellion.
