The Thai hostages were not led through the crowd. They chose to humiliate the two Jewish hostages. Another Jewish hostage was delivered in another Gazan city quietly.

It's hard to find info on this, I searched and found one video of Thais being led through a calm, small crowd. I can easily believe the Jews got extra bad treatment, but I wanted to see the video, which isn't getting as much play as the more obvious ones. IMO, many things can be learned from looking up the less dramatic videos, because there are so many tells. For instance, it occurred to me, some time after my first comment: who is responsible for the crowd, i.e., the small, calm crowd could have been invited and scripted, just as the large, violent crowd was. Hamas is in control, so crowd scenes are Pallywood productions.

The Hamas leadership, assuming there is one, are filled with madness and a sense of invincibility. Not the best combination, especially if you’re fighting them. They know they are losing militarily but winning the propaganda war. This is a dangerous combination. Propaganda and theater are their main tools. So Israel much win that war along with the armed struggle. Can they do it? Uncertain, but it’s not outside of Israel’s reach. They need creative, imaginative, innovative propagandists. Do they have them? Unclear for the moment.

The unmanliness—indeed the un-humaness” of these cowards are shown that even when outnumbering the woman they are bullying, they hide their faces. But I have every confidence that Israeli intelligence will identify who they are, track them down and then show just how brave these jerks are.

We reap what we sow. Because Hamas has never been able to even envision a coexistence with their neighboring Israelis, they have done grave damage to their home, and are inches away from inviting a whole lot more. https://open.substack.com/pub/jewdicious/p/the-tragically-moronic-strategy-of?r=2n1e7&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false

Was there a similar crowd scene when the Thai hostages were released? This is important, because if there wasn't, it would indicate that the way the Jewish hostages were released was deliberate and could have been prevented. OTOH, if the Thai hostages were similarly abused, it would be a point in Hamas' and the Red Cross' favor.

I looked up the video, the Thai hostages had to walk through a crowd, but the crowd was calm and not aggressive. So, it looks like Hamas and the Red Cross are partly exonerated, i.e. they didn't release the Thais in a different way to the the Israelis, but OTOH the attitude of the crowd is telling, they obviously didn't want to lynch the Thais, while they wanted to lynch the Israelis.
