Are pro-Mullah rallies just beginning in the United States?
As if on cue, over the weekend pro-Iranian activists swarmed into London’s Parliament Square and in Paris. They waved Iranian and Palestinian flags.
A group called Bronx Antiwar is calling for a “Solidarity With Iran” rally to be held on Monday June 16. It’s to take place in Times Square.
So, this begs the question: Will the war in the Middle East spill over into American streets?
And, how violent can the pro-Iranian groups become?
Here’s a tickler about the Bronx Antiwar group. It was one of the original signatories of a manifesto that gave birth to the “Free Elias Rodriguez Organizing Committee.”
Rodriguez is the man who at point blank range murdered Yaron Lichinsky, 28, and Sarah Pilgrim, 26, about three weeks ago as the two were leaving a Jewish reception held at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC.
Bronx Antiwar then wrote on X, “Elias Rodriguez is paving the way for resistance in the West, leading by example and moving beyond mere symbolic gestures or rhetorical support for the Palestinian cause. We endorse this statement and encourage all other organizations to do so as well.”
The Tariq El-Tahrir Youth and Student Network, an obscure Middle Eastern-based group created the “Free Elias Rodriguez Organizing Committee” and sought American and international co-sponsors. Twenty-nine groups publicly signed onto its manifesto. Of course, Tariq El-Tahrir hailed Elias Rodriguez as a “resistance” fighter.
Another pro-terrorist group supporting Monday’s march is the Samidoun Network. They posted on X, “SOLIDARITY WITH IRAN! ABOLISH ICE! BREAK THE SEIGE ON GAZA!”
Last October, under the Biden administration, the U.S. and Canada determined that the Samidoun Network was a “sham charity” that was a front for the terrorist Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is a designated terrorist organization. As the U.S. Treasury Department stated in a press release last October:
“In a joint action with Canada, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, or “Samidoun,” a sham charity that serves as an international fundraiser for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization. The PFLP, which was designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Department of State in October 1997 and October 2001, respectively, uses Samidoun to maintain fundraising operations in both Europe and North America.”
Will American leftists support the Iranian Mullahs? Will they remain peaceful or will they become violent? Time will tell if the Middle East war will spill into American streets.
